Dating AI Privacy Policy

1. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to the Dating AI website at dating-ai.org and to every companion chat, account page and payment flow offered through it. It does not cover independent websites you may reach from Dating AI.

2. Who we are

Dating AI operates the companion chat service described on this site and acts as the controller of the personal data described below. References to "we", "us" and "the service" mean Dating AI.

3. Age requirement

Dating AI is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we close it and delete the associated data.

4. Account information

When you register we collect an email address, a hashed password or an authentication token from your sign-in provider, and a display name. This is the minimum required to give you a persistent Dating AI account.

5. Conversation content

Messages you exchange with a companion are stored so the conversation can continue across sessions. Conversation memory is the core feature of Dating AI and cannot be provided without retaining chat content while your account is active.

6. Companion settings

Choices you make about a companion's appearance, personality, tone and interests are stored with your account so the same character is presented each time you return.

7. Payment information

Card details are entered directly with our payment processors and are never stored on Dating AI servers. We keep only the plan name, billing status, currency, partial card identifiers and invoice history.

8. Device and technical data

We log IP address, browser type, operating system, language, referring page and timestamps. This data supports security, fraud prevention and basic troubleshooting.

9. Cookies and similar tools

Dating AI uses cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember interface preferences and measure aggregate traffic. Essential cookies cannot be disabled without breaking sign-in; the rest can be blocked in your browser.

10. Analytics

We measure aggregate usage such as page views, session length and feature adoption. Analytics reports are reviewed at group level and are not used to build advertising profiles of individual members.

11. Purposes of processing

We process your data to create and secure your account, deliver companion conversations, process payments, prevent abuse, provide support, meet legal obligations and improve the service.

12. Legal bases

Depending on your location we rely on contract performance for delivering the service, legitimate interests for security and improvement, consent for optional communications, and legal obligation where a law requires retention.

13. Service improvement

Where permitted, limited and de-identified samples of interactions may be reviewed to improve response quality and safety. Samples are stripped of direct identifiers before review.

14. Safety and abuse prevention

Automated systems screen for prohibited content, fraudulent payments and coordinated abuse. Accounts that trigger repeated safety violations may be suspended and relevant records retained for the period necessary.

15. Service providers

We share data with hosting providers, payment processors, email delivery services and analytics vendors strictly to run Dating AI. Each provider is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions.

16. International transfers

Data may be processed in countries other than yours. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent recognised safeguard.

17. Data retention

Account and conversation data is kept while your account remains open. After deletion, records are removed from active systems within 30 days and from encrypted backups within 90 days, unless a longer period is legally required.

18. Security measures

We use encryption in transit, encryption at rest for stored conversations, access controls limited to authorised staff, and regular review of infrastructure permissions. No online service can promise absolute security.

19. Your access rights

You may request confirmation of whether we process your personal data and receive a copy of it. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

20. Correcting your data

Account details can be corrected at any time in your Dating AI settings, or by written request if a field is not editable in the interface.

21. Deleting your data

You can delete individual conversations or your entire Dating AI account from settings. Deleting the account removes companions, chat history and preferences according to the retention schedule above.

22. Portability

Where the law provides this right, you may request your account data in a structured, commonly used, machine readable format.

23. Objection and restriction

You may object to processing based on legitimate interests or ask us to restrict processing while a dispute about accuracy or lawfulness is resolved.

24. Withdrawing consent

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

25. Marketing messages

Service emails such as receipts and security notices are always sent. Promotional emails are optional and every one of them contains an unsubscribe link.

26. Automated processing

Companion replies are generated automatically. These outputs are conversational content and are not used to make decisions producing legal effects concerning you.

27. No sale of personal data

Dating AI does not sell personal data and does not share conversation content with advertisers or data brokers.

28. Third party links

Some pages link to external services. Once you leave Dating AI, the privacy practices of the destination site apply and we have no control over them.

29. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes are announced on this page with a revised date, and continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
